I am so sorry to learn about Kaye’s death.   My former husband, Charles Hames, who is also deceased - and I were  best friends  with Jerry and Kaye in Sunnymeade, CA.   Our husbands were both stationed at March Air Force Base at the same time.   We lived one house apart.  We played Yahtzee a few times a week since it was cheap entertainment.   Jerry and Kaye were a striking looking couple and so much fun.   I remember that we would get Kaye to make her cheese cake with cherries on top when we celebrated holidays.  Sadly, we all moved back to our home states but kept in touch a while but then lost contact.  I tried for years to get a working phone number for her but didn’t succeed.  My true condolences to her family  as Kaye was beautiful inside and out.   Lynnda Thomas

It still seems like I’m going to wake from a bad dream and then I’ll hear your laughter and see that always encouraging smile. The losses bare down until I don’t believe I can take more that’s when I draw on the strength you showed me through your faith and love of your family. No matter how rough the storms get you taught me to raise myself up, it’s not about me but about those we love. 
Until we meet again, and we will, save me a place   I love you dear friend. 

Our sympathy to all Kaye’s family.  She was loved and will be missed by so many.  The pictures you shared were wonderful.  I have many happy memories of Christmas times when we saw each other, many visits at her parents’ house. You all are in our thoughts and prayers in your loss of Kaye.

Condolences to Kaye’s Family.  I graduated from high school with Jerry in 1962 and knew Kaye from the time she came to Watertown  for school.   I always remember Kaye’s bubbling personality.

Angie, Anita, and Kim I am  so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a special person to me.  We shared alot of good times together.  May God be ever so near to the family during this difficult time.

I am greatly saddened to hear about the  recent loss of Kaye Hearn.   She was loved by everyone and a wonderful and caring person.  She was a good wife to my older brother Travis who passed away fourteen years ago at the age of 61.  They both leave two boys and three girls.  

I will be unable to attend the memorial services because of distance and the current Covid virus problem, but will be thinking about her and all of you in this time of sorrow.   Some of my fondest memories of Kaye always included her quick smile and fun-loving attitude.  Usually she would start a conversation with the words, "Well, Ed" and then continue as we normally found something funny to laugh and joke about.  

She was a good mother to her children and will certainly be missed by all.  Rest in peace.

It's hard to begin telling just how wonderful Kaye was. For years there were four couples of us who were inseparable,  Kaye and Travis,  Steve and Verbal Osborn,  Pat and Jerry Briggs, and Joe and me. We were the infamous clique of Lakeview Baptist church! We served God together, shared our lives, went on vacations, and of course our regular houseboat trips.
Never have I ever had such friends and family.  Though the years, distance, and death have separated us, the bond we had can never die. Together,  Kaye and Travis raised a family to be admired.  They taught their children to be good, honest, giving, loving and followers of God. Rest in peace and God's arms. We will meet again. My love to all you kids, I am so sorry for your loss 


I went to church with Kaye in the 1980's and participated in the choir while Kaye played the piano.  We enjoyed several wonderful Christmas programs while singing praises to the Lord.  I introduced Kaye to my brother Travis Hearn at a church service during that time.  After dating several months, Kaye and Travis decided to get married.  Many happy memories  exist of our families during that time.  All the children were young and life was good.  Kaye was a very strong individual and always had my respect.  I believe Kaye brought my brother the most happiness he ever enjoyed in his life.
Kaye will be fondly remembered as a Godly person who shared her love for the Lord with everyone around her.  I wish her family all the best  and think she would be very proud of all of them.
