Her greatest pride was her son Mike Wooden, his wife Judy (Meeks) Wooden and their sons Michael Wooden and Chris Wooden. As a World War ll veteran's wife, she often expressed pride for her country and the sacrifices for freedom that she and her husband were willing to make. She loved watching her family play both high school and college athletics but her life's passion will best be remembered as inviting others to Temple Baptist Church and registering residents to vote. Louise was an active participant in the Brandywine Women's Club, Old Hickory Chamber of Commerce, Democratic Women's Club, American Legion, various Right to Life Organizations, a decades-long board member of the Christian Community Outreach Program and Chairperson of the Outreach Program for Temple Baptist Church for many years.
