Margaret Emily French

January 31, 1926 – December 6, 2017

Margaret ( Peggy ) Emily French, age 91, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2017. She was born in Villa Park, Illinois on January 31, 1926. She was married to the late Miles O. French, her husband of 63 years who went to be with the Lord in 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Victoria Prinzing, sister Vickie Buerer, brothers Herbert and Robert Prinzing, daughter Barbara Jean French, and

son-in-law Robert D. King.

She is survived by her brother, Rev. Fred ( Anita ) Prinzing, her daughter Shirley King, sons Dan ( Sue ) French, Russ ( Kathy ) French, and Phil ( Cile ) French; nine grandchildren, Jeff ( Lisa ) King, Brad King, Keeley ( Andy ) Holland, Laura Wells, Samuel ( Amy ) French, Lauren French, Miranda French, Ryan French, Sadie French; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob King, Daniel King, Parker Homa, and Olivia Wells.

Peggy was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and the Harmony Sunday School Class. She served as a Welcome Wagon hostess in Hermitage for 25 years.

A private family burial will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at noon at Tulip Grove Baptist Church,

563 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138 followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm.
