Martin Timothy "Tim" Allison, a beloved and cherished resident of Mt Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on November 16, 1957, Martin was known for his compassionate and kind-hearted nature.
A 1976 graduate of Mount Juliet High School, Martin worked alongside his father and brothers at Overnite Trucking Company for over twenty years. He later pursued his passion for helping others by earning an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy, a field in which he worked until his retirement.
Martin was married to his loving wife, Rhonda, for forty-four years. He is survived by his wife, his brothers Mike and Bill Allison, his sister Debbie Payne (Gary), and his friend like a brother, Steve Head. Martin also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Clifford H. Allison, his mother, Wilma (Stines) Allison, and his sister, Diane Allison.
Tim, as he was affectionately known, had a deep love for sports and was a big fan of the University of Tennessee. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing softball and fished competitively for many years. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals and was particularly fond of Bull Terriers, having rescued eight throughout his life. His canine companion, "Gertie," was his sixth rescue dog.
Tim was known for his quiet and reserved demeanor, which would warm up once he got to know you. He knew what he liked and pursued it with determination.
