

A woman that was the perfect combination of few and deliberate words, a sly wit and a passion for church and family. Elder and active member of Old Hickory Presbyterian Church. A sixth generation Nashvillian. Long-time member at the Old Hickory Country Club, she was an avid golfer and a duplicate bridge player. She enjoyed gardening, was a gifted musician, voracious reader, amazing cook, accomplished needle-worker and master of puzzles. Was born to Robert Franklin Rives and Eleanor Ryburn Brown Rives and preceded in death by husband Crafton A. (Billy) Wilson, and son Steven Nichol Wilson.
Survived by children Cornelia (Connie) Jane Hukowicz, Frankie Wilson, Mary Lynn Wilson, John Crafton Wilson (Laura Morris) and daughter-in-law Barbara W. Evans (Joe); grandchildren Stephanie Jo Wilson-Evans (Wynn Cowan), Olivia Jane Vantrease (Kelley), Leah Parkes Wilson Evans (Troy Dickson), Michael Suzanne Long (Brad Knight); great-grandchildren Marijane Long, Tye Waddell, Elliote Knight, and Ryker Vantrease.
Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, on Monday evening, April 18, 2016 from 5-7. On Tuesday April 19, the family will be holding a visitation at 10 a.m. at Old Hickory Presbyterian Church, 801 Jones St, Old Hickory, TN, with services to follow at 11.
Interment will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Hickory Presbyterian Church.
