Melissa Ann Dickerson, 75, passed away on May 6, 2026. Born April 17, 1951, Melissa will be remembered as a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her, and for the compassionate way she cared for others through every season of life.
Melissa was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dickerson; her sister, Rena Bass Hayes; and her parents, JB and Bernice Bell.
She is survived by her daughter, Dana Meadows (Derrick); her son, Nate Dickerson (Leslie); her grandchildren, Porter Dickerson, Connor Dickerson, Lauren Brown (Kelton), and Joseph Meadows; great grandson Hudson Brown; her sister, Linda Miller (Chuck); her brothers, Jerry Bell (Sue) and Darrell Bell; and nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, on Monday May 11, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Hermitage Funeral Home on May 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers,
