Michael Rhea Hudnall, better known as Mike or Hud, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was sixty-one years old and a lifelong resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee. He was a 1980 graduate of DuPont High School, where he played varsity basketball. After graduation, Mike played basketball at Aquinas College and Shelby State University and attended the University of Memphis.
Mike is predeceased by his mother, Patricia Richardson Hudnall and is survived by his father, Bobby Ray Hudnall. He is also survived by his son, Ryan Hudnall (Kiko) and his daughter, Kirbi Wrye (Jacob), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Liam and Maya Hudnall and Raine and Murphey Wrye and his special friend, Alicia Griffith and her son Reed Sculley.
A gathering of family & friends for Mike will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
