

Milo Gould Sherman age 101, passed away on January 23, 2015. He was born in Bartlett, Texas on October 11, 1913 to E.B. & Catherine Annie Gaedcke Sherman. Preceded in death by wife of 66 years, Ruth Walker Sherman on April 30, 2006. Also preceding him in death great granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth Smith; four sisters, Kitty (Bob) Jung, Frances (G.A.) McGregor, Ruth (Dick) Baggett, Anne (Bob) Goss; parents, E.B. & Catherine Annie Sherman.
Milo attended Vanderbilt University and worked for the Nashville Bridge Company from 1937-1972. After his retirement , he started his own company, K&S Engineering, and retired from this in 1982. He is a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, and a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church and the Ballinger Sunday School Class. Milo is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Tom) Moon of White Pine, TN, Sara (Bill) Carter of Danielsville, GA, Sue (Jim) Jared of Waverly, TN; grandchildren, Steve (Teresa) Moon, Sharon (Mike) Lyttle, Milo (Greg) Moon, Amy (Danny) Tassone`, Barbara (Darrick) Smith, Sara (Bruce) Augustin, Tara` (Rich) Brown, Rachael Hunter. Great grandchildren, Taylor & Connor Moon, Bailey, Morgan and Zoe Lyttle, Ethan and Gabriel Moon-Puente, Owen & Linley Smith, Django Hunter, Blake Brown and baby Tassone, who will arrive in June. Sincere appreciation to Senior Helpers and to Alive Hospice for the wonderful care they have provided to Milo and a special thanks to Rose Norris, his longtime caregiver. Rose has been a blessing to our family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Milo's honor to the Ballinger Sunday School Class at Hermitage United Methodist Church or to Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN
