

He will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a kind and loving man to all. He was affectionately called Daddy Paul.
He was born November 20, 1926 in Lexington, TN and raised on a farm.
He graduated from Memphis State University in 1951 and earned his masters from Peabody college. He was a member of the Memphis State Collegiate Baseball Team.
Mr. Milam taught high school Biology mostly at Donelson High School and DuPont High school and retired after 32 years of teaching. For many years he was a devout member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ.
He was very active in his retirement, he enjoyed cutting grass, playing the harmonica and ping pong. He also enjoyed watching college sports including Memphis and University of Tennessee.
He is survived by his daughter Vicki Milam; grandson Matthew (Lauren) Milam, great grandchildren Max Milam, Wes Milam, Savannah Milam, Callaway Milam and; daughter in law Pamela Milam.
Mr. Milam is preceded in death by his wife Polly Milam and Son Ronald Milam.
Gathering of family and friends Thursday March 13, 2025 from 12:00-2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Garden of Gethsemane at Hermitage Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
