Rebecca Foster Brown

Donelson, TN

Age 90, passed away August 12, 2014. A loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother who always had time for her family. She was a wonderful cook, loyal friend, avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Brown was a member of Donelson Heights United Methodist Church for almost 60 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elma Brown; parents, Marshall & Maybelle Foster.

Survived by her children, Larry E. Brown, Kevin Brown (Theresa) and Becky Jensen (Doug); granddaughters, Suzanne Miller, Julie Cook (Scott), Megan Brown and McKenzie Brown; great-granddaughters, Ella Miller and Emma Cook; sister-in-law, Evie Gooch Foster; cousins, nieces and nephews; puppy dog, Rosie.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Hermitage Funeral Home, with Rev. Edd Templeton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens, with Wayne Foster, Eddie Foster, Charles Mundy, Scott Cook, Charles Bradley and Billy Walker serving as Active Pallbearers, and friends of Donelson Heights United Methodist Church and neighbors of June Dr. serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
