Mrs. Payne owned and operated Payne Catering for 36 years. Her priorities were her family and home both of which she took great care of. She was friendly and welcoming and often cared for her grandchildren and others.
She is survived by her children Beverly (Danny W.) Owens, Ronnie (Jackie) Payne, and Mitzi Payne; grandchildren Travis Grisham, Zachary Owens, Chris (Jessica) Sterling, Hunter Payne and Nikki Jenkins; and sister Evelyn Vanderpool.
Mrs. Payne is preceded in death by her loving husband Z. Taylor Payne.
Gathering of Family and friends Tuesday February 2, 2021 from 4:00-6:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home and on Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 9:00am-10:00am also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00am in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Travis Grisham, Chris Stering, Hunter Payne, Kevin Huffnes, Bobby Huffnes and Donnie Harbison will serve as pallbearers, Zachary Owens will serve as honoree pallbearer.
