Steven Scott Smith

Steven served in the United States Navy. He was retired from Atlantic Aviation. He was of the Catholic faith.

Steven was born in Kankakee, Illinois, on October 19, 1954, to Leonard Bert and Doris Marie Boudreaux Smith. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Charlie) Armstrong Smith, whom he adored.

In addition, surviving are three beloved children, Autumn Smith Sleder (Adam), Paul Smith (Melissa) and, Sossity Smith Batchelor (Brian), along with eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, James Alan Smith (Elizabeth) and Michael Lee Smith (Martha Sue), several cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and many aunts and uncles.

Steven had a passion for music, especially The Beatles, fishing, the beach and other outside activities, especially camping with his children and grandchildren. Steven was loved by all who knew him, his sense of humor always drew a crowd.
