Sue, age of 85 of Hermitage, TN, passed away in peace at her home with her family. Sue was born in Sparta, TN and was the third child of thirteen born unto the late James Andrew “General” Jones and Gilla Bell Pippin Jones. She moved to Nashville after high school and married James Edwin Mitchell. After having three children, she worked at National City Bank, CNA and volunteered much of her time. She attended Hermitage United Methodist Church since 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and son Barry Kevin Mitchell. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Flatt and Tamara Fortner, her grandchildren, Chelsea Malray, Cody Flatt, Evan Fortner and Erin Fortner, and her great-grandchild, Bodhi Malray. The graveside service will take place on December 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
