Tammy Renee Campbell

Tammy Renee Campbell, 58, passed on January 6, 2017, at her home in Old Hickory, TN. She was born on May 4, 1958 in Nashville, TN to parents Clinton “Jack” Rudolf Claridy and Velma Lois Claridy. Wife of her devoted husband of 20 years, Gray Campbell; mother to daughter Melanie Dempsy, and loving grandmother to Lexie Dempsy. Tammy was the youngest of ten children. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Maggie, Jean, and Gerald Dean, brother Jerry and sister in-law Genie. She is survived by her sisters Linda, Ruthie, Judy, Rita, and Debbie, and brothers and sister in-law Guy, Glen and Gerri, mother in-law Gracia Baer, father in-law Gable, and step mother in-law Shella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousin. Friends and family will miss her mischievous smile and infectious laughter. In youth, she lived life her way and influenced others to enjoy theirs. In the latter years of live, she was dedicated to raising her only granddaughter (her Lexie Bug). You are invited to join our family in celebrating her life at Hermitage Funeral Home located at 535 Shute Ln. Old Hickory, TN. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2017, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Viewing will begin on January 10, 2017 at 11:00AM with Funeral Services to begin at 1:00PM. Burial to immediately follow services in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Her powerful presence will be greatly missed!
