Thomas Clayton Kline, age 80 of Hendersonville, TN passed away August 3, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph B. and Marie (Mossbarger) Kline; step-mom, Thelma Kline; siblings, Ernest Kline, Jane Curren and Phyllis Buchhammer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jo Kline; daughters, Dyann Jones (Brian) and Tina Douglas (Michael); siblings, Wayne Kline and Linda Johnson; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Thomas was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1957~1962. He then worked for Diebold, Inc., retiring after 35 years of service, then worked for Bransford Group, Inc and retired at 70 years of age.
Thomas was a member along with Jo at Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be at 11:00 am Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Hendersonville First Baptist Church, 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd, Hendersonville, TN with Bro. Lynn Buckles and Pastor Bruce Chesser officiating. Interment will follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Wednesday at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN and from 9:00 am ~ 11:00 am Thursday at the church.
