DUBE, Walter A.Age 90 of Donelson, TN, passed away August 13, 2012. Walter was a charter member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. He was a Shriner, a Mason and a member of the American Legion. Retiring from flying in 2005 with 23,000 plus flight hours, he was inducted into the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his son, Terry Robert Dube. Survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ola Faye Dube (Tot); son, Walter Wayne (Dottie) Dube; grandson, Dr. Scott Dube; granddaughters, Kristy (Kelly) Deffendall, Tracey (Jimmy) Driver, Kelly (Troy) Troup; 11 great-grandchildren. A Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rick Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Terry Reeves, Bill Menchaca, Scott Dube, Kelly Deffendall, Jimmy Driver and Terry Hibbett. Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 and from 12 p.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
