

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of William “Bill” Edward Creasy, age 91, on February 5, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the beloved husband of the late Rebecca “Becky” Clark Creasy, who preceded him in death on December 22, 2023. Together, they shared 43 years of love, devotion and companionship, and their bond remained unbroken even after her passing.
William Edward Creasy was born on November 26, 1933 in Drakesboro, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Creasy and Nevada Gates Creasy; his two sisters, Shirley Faye Creasy and Mary Elizabeth Creasy; and his younger son, Keith Creasy. He is survived by children Mark Creasy (Mel), Tamra Creasy Acciari (Nic); stepchildren Pam Hailey Rice (Ron) and Sheri Hailey Raymer (Ross); grandchildren Mark Creasy Jr. (Liz), Shannon Creasy, Geff Acciari, Julia Acciari, Cassie Creasy Madison (Mike), Stephanie Rice Miller (Jason), Austin Rice (Teal), Kristy Raymer Ross (Robert), Ross Raymer III, Garrett Raymer; and great-grandchildren Anthony Creasy, Jonathan Creasy, Andrew Miller, Silas Miller, Franklin Ross and Alexander Ross.
William was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and his family is deeply grateful for his service to our country. He was a good son, a good father, and a good grandfather. He will be remembered for his devotion to those he loved and his deep sense of gratitude. His sense of humor, clever wit, and contagious laugh will be missed by all who knew him.
The family gives special thanks for the care and compassion given by Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Aveanna Hospice in recent years.
A private service will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Old Hickory, Tennessee on Saturday, February 8, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in William Creasy’s memory.
