Marsha Kohutovic

Marsha Delores Kohutovic, of Old Lyme, passed away peacefully in Branford, CT on June 7, 2021. Marsha was born on September 13, 1953 to Nancy Loubier and Marshall Sutton and was raised in CT.

Over the years, Marsha owned her own business where she skillfully created gift baskets and canned chairs for local customers who were delighted by her work. For fun, she enjoyed camping, boating, going to the movies and spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets.

Marsha was predeceased by her parents, aunts Rosita Parker and Georgette Cadregari and uncle Lawrence Loubier.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Kohutovic of Old Lyme, CT; her aunts Lorraine Wiseman of Cape Cod, Mass and Lorette Campbell of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by her sisters Chris Hampson of Vero Beach, FL and Pam Berlin of Herndon, VA.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 13th from 5-7pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 14th at 10am in Christ the King Church, McCurdy Rd., Old Lyme. In lieu flowers, the family would like to ask for contributions made to The Connecticut Hospice or the ASPCA.

Marsha was a wonderful friend to me. I'll never forget our fun times together. I admired her fighting spirit and concern for others. I will miss her deeply and always remember the friendship we shared. Marsha was a True Warrior.
