Robert Ernest Johnson was born on June 16, 1949. He grew up in Plainville, CT, and was the son of William and Elizabeth Johnson. He was predeceased by his older brother, Kurt Johnson whose children are Jesse Johnson (Florida), and Samantha Johnson Carlson (Colorado).
Robert was a self taught incredible musician on both the banjo and the guitar, a vocalist, and an entertainer, he also gave music lessons and enjoyed teaching music. Farmington-Chase, a condo complex is where he was employed doing maintenance and grounds work. Later in life he worked for the state parks department, which suited his love of nature, the outdoors, and all living things.
Robert was an intelligent and beautiful soul who chose to live a simpler, uncomplicated life. Deeply loving, kind, and gentle, describe his many qualities. I was truly blessed to know and love him and be loved by him. For many years, I, as his companion, Linda Bauer, enjoyed each other company as best friends and had wonderful adventures together. I am deeply heartbroken and will miss him always.
