Evelyn T Jackson

Evelyn Temelini Jackson, 85, of Old Saybrook, died on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, in Haddam. Evelyn was born on June 20, 1929, in Old Saybrook, the daughter of the late Massimo and Anna Bernabucci Temelini. Evelyn was kind, caring to her family, and a devoted Catholic. She enjoyed bingo and traveling. She retired as a supervisor from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles in Norwich. She is survived by a brother, Bill Cortelyou; two sisters-in-law: Nellie and Beverly Temelini; and several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of Arthur W. Jackson, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by eight siblings: Jean Van Valkenburgh, Katherine Marcolini, Julia Boothe, and Joseph, Peter, Aldo, Anthony, and Charles Temelini. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 10 a.m., at St. John Church, Old Saybrook. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
