Gary A. Ponzillo, age 62 of Westbrook passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on January 11, 2013. He was born in Meriden CT, on November 6, 1951. Beloved son of the late Anthony G. and June (Clark) Ponzillo.
Gary was owner and operator of Ponzillo Construction Company in Westbrook for 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Gary loved to be near the water and to be boating. Westbrook has lost a dear friend with a large circle of friends on the shoreline and surrounding towns, he will be missed.
He leaves behind his brother Carl Ponzillo of Westbrook, and his sister Lydia M. Ponzillo of Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a donor’s choice
