

Born on July 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Rose Luongo Villani, and was one of six siblings. She was married to Harry Reiher, a NY Telephone employee, on October 8, 1938, who passed away in 1992.
Mary was a devoted wife and mother who cherished time spent with her family. In addition to raising her children, she maintained her career as a nurse, working at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY, for 20 years. She was an artist who painted many beautiful floral and landscape paintings. She also enjoyed floral arranging, reading, and fishing with her husband. She adored her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and laughter.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Farrell and her husband Edward; 6 grandchildren, Laurie Caruso, Edward Farrell, Mary Addison, Matthew Farrell, Karen Zeigler and Jeffrey Cascone; 9 great grandchildren; Zachary and Ryer Caruso, Sophie and Fiona Addison, Harper Farrell, Amanda and Michael Zeigler and Ryan and Brandon Cascone. She is also survived by her dear nieces, Michele Castagna of Brookfield, CT and Linda Karp of Chapel Hill, NC. She was predeceased by her daughter Carole A. Cascone in 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. April 16th at 11am in St. John Church, Main St., Old Saybrook.
