Olive M. Tower

Olive M Tower, (Smith) of Deep River passed away on Aug.25, 2011 @ the Masonic Home in Wallingford. She was born May 28, 1928 in North Haven to the late Robert and Esther (Leete) Smith. She was predeceased by her beloved Husband Harold J. Tower. In addition she is survived by her loving children, Sherry Fish, Harold I. Tower (Lia) of Portland, Or, Valerie T Winschel (Arthur) of Westbrook,CT Robin Potter (Stan) of Lexington, NY, and Olivia Dancosse (Richard) of Willimantic CT. She was a dedicated homemaker, loved to paint, bake, sew and listen to music. She was a member of the Deep River Baptist Church. She also leaves behind her loving Grandchildren, Louis Budney III, Richelle Rowe, Christine Newcomb, Jay Newcomb, Matthew Winschel, Jennifer Tower, Andy Tower, Jason Fish, Rachel Fisher, Amos Potter, Naomi Potter, Mary Potter, Steven Dancosse, Christopher Dancosse and 10 Great Grandchildren, no calling hrs. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, Sept.1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River. Swan Funeral Home, Old Saybrook will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Deep River Baptist Church, 24 River Street, Deep River CT 06417 in memory of Olive Tower.
