

Rose Marie (Mislick) Turner, widow of the late Leroy Turner died on Monday November 16th at Chestelm in Moodus. She was the oldest child of Charles J. and Marie (Becker) Mislick born on November 5, 1928.
Rose was raised in Chester and lived there until her move to Chestelm three years ago.
She worked for over 20 years at Highland Hall in Essex. She was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Chester.
Survivors include her brother John Mislick (Myrtle) of Deep River, and two sisters Victoria Bressan of Maryland and Ann McGuigan of South Carolina. She is also survived by eight of her children: Sharon Turner, Leroy (Sam) Turner, Jr. and Pat, Jenny Turner, Alice Kostoss, Terance Turner and Colleen, William Turner and Charles Turner, Kathleen Boone and Gary; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Charles and June Mislick and brothers-in-law David Bressan and William McGuigan, and three children Michael D. Turner, Arthur O. Turner and Olive L. Turner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 19th at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, 48 Middlesex Turnpike, Chester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Chestelm for the kindness and love for our mother over the last three years. Their support has been tremendous.
