Thomas F. Horton

Thomas Frederick Horton 69, beloved husband of Linda L. Horton, passed following a brief illness at Yale, New Haven Hospital on January 31, 2012. Born July 12, 1942, Tom grew up in Haddam Connecticut, the son of Edith W. Kowalski and Thomas (Roy) Horton. Tom resided in Old Saybrook for the past 49 years. He was a Bindery supervisor for 38 years at RR Donnelley Printing Company. Upon retirement, Tom spent his time as a “handyman extraordinaire” helping family, friends and neighbors very generously with his time, talents and efforts. Tom was predeceased by his beloved son Troy and is survived by sister Judy Munster of Haddam, daughters Audrey Scott of Clinton, CT, Annette Higgins, Jacksonville, FL, Grandchildren Brett Wingard, Brittany Pajank of Florida, Christopher Scott of Rhode Island, Elizabeth Scott of Clinton and Great granddaughter Briana Norman of Clinton. Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook Friday (Today) February 3, from 6 to 8. Memorial services will be held Saturday February 4, at the Funeral Home at 11am. Interment will be private.
