He was born on December 27, 1950 in St-Zacharie, Quebec and moved to Maine as a young child with his parents.
Dennis proudly served in the United States Army from 1969-1972 and was the current Commander at the American Legion Post 84 of Orono, Maine.
He enjoyed his summers at Parks Pond with all of their friends, sitting around the campfire telling stories. He also loved fishing and entertaining friends and family at the bar that he made at their home in Milford. He took great pride in his woodworking skills and made many beautiful pieces for friends and family.
Dennis was predeceased by his mother and father, Alma & Lionel Faucher, his sister, Joccelyn Moore, and his infant son, Dennis Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Neila Faucher, his beloved dog, Abby, daughter Maryann Faucher and her partner Carl Hartung, stepson Chad Davis and his fiancé Heidi Harriman, stepdaughter Angela Smith and her husband Matthew, grandchildren Marie, Brady, Morgan, Annalise, Reese, and Beckett, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in United States and Canada.
At his request, there will not be a public service but a remembrance of life for close friends and family at a later time.
In place of flowers and donations, we know Dennis would like for everyone to take the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones.
