Frances Cassie Chubbuck

OLD TOWN—Frances C. (Jones) Chubbuck, 74, gained her eternal wings on March 26, 2012. She was born February 11, 1938 in Springfield a daughter of Bert and Gladys (Kirk) Jones.

Frances was a strong, wonderful woman who opened up her heart and home to many children as they grew up. She was an amazing Mom and mother-in-law. She enjoyed crocheting and donated many handmade items to different organizations and also supported the Old Town Animal Orphanage. She will be missed by her cat Whitney.

She is survived by 3 daughters Gloria Garceau of Old Town, Shirley Chubbuck of Orono, Cathy Jo Raymond and her husband Ed of Stillwater; her only grandson James Garceau; and one very important lady who was attached to her hip as she grew up and always occupied a special place in her heart, Renea Anderson Rice of Kenduskeag; three sisters Betty MacWhinnie and her husband Roger of Litchfield, Bertha Leveille and her husband Maurice of Greene, and Virgina Prest of Mesquite, TX; a brother Bert Jones and his wife Donna of Mesquite, TX. She was predeceased by her daughter Debbie Chubbuck and her parents.

A Memorial service will be conducted 4pm Friday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town, ME 04468.Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage P.O. Box 565 Orono, ME 04473
