Indian Island—George M Francis Jr., 84, died January 5, 2021 at a Bangor hospital. He was born December 3, 1936 in Bass Harbor, Maine a son of George Sr and Rachel (Gott) Francis.
He was employed at Hinckley Boatyard for many years. He enjoyed hunting, Bingo, and lobster rolls.
George is survived by his son Wayne Francis, and daughters Shelly Francis, Linda Dow and Lori Gray and a sister Jacki Hart. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia Francis, son Tony Francis, grandson George Francis and a sister Helen Harrington.
