
BRADLEY - Johnie H. Free, 68, died December 28, 2013 at his residence following s brief battle with thyroid cancer. He was born February 14, 1945, in Salt Lake City, UT, a son of Johnie Harris and Opal (Thompson) Free.He proudly served with the US Navy during Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Johnie enjoyed woodworking and volunteered at Crossroads Ministries. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, whom he married April 13, 1967; a son, Col Brian Winski, US Army, and his wife, Kimberly of VA; two grandchildren, Kate and Andrew; a half brother, Bill Beatty of Salt Lake City, UT; 2 sisters, Charlene Madrigal of UT, and Colleen Gilmore of WY; brothers- and sisters-in law, Nona Kimball of CT, Althea Keene of Bucksport, Elizabeth and Sharon Kimball of Milford, Kenneth Kimball and his wife, Pamela of Old Town, Dale Kimball and Vinal Kimball of FL; several nieces and nephews and good friends. He was predeceased by his parents.A graveside service with military honors will be announced in the spring.
