We are so sorry for your loss.  Nola was not only our Cedar Street neighbor for several years but also became a very good friend.  She was a special person and always had a smile and hug for everyone.  We especially enjoyed playing cards with her and Mrs. Brisley.  There was always much laughter.

So sorry to read of Nola this morning in the paper.
Nola and the Mahans were our adopted parents when our son, Paul was critically injured in a car accident back in July of 1995. We were there when her husband Elmer passed. Nola still came to support us after regardless of how painful it must have been to come to the hospital...I know she is a special ANGEL sitting next to GOD. Nola we will never forget your compassion and love. 
Brenda, Jodie (Nola was so proud of you and spoke so highly of you also)and of course Winston and Nancy, you are all so special in my heart...

I am so sorry for your families loss.  Nola was a gracious, caring lady.  I was in the card club with her and she always had a warm smile, lots of laughter and a big hug for us all.  She will be missed.

I met Nola a few years ago at church, as soon as she learned that I was from the county we became friends, she always had a hug and a smile. I will miss her, she was a lovely women, I feel blessed to have known her. RIP friend...

My condolences to your family on your loss. I knew both Nola and Elmer and took two trips to Labrador with Elmer. They were both good people in my book.

Their were no strangers to Nola. She made everyone feel so comfortable and cared for. I cut Nola's hair for over 30 years and never once did I leave her house without a funny store or joke. She always gave a big hug when I would leave and most often would walk me all the way to my car still sharing one last laugh . She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers to you all.
