

OLD TOWN - Randy J. Nason, 47, died Jan. 17, 2011, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 21, 1963, in Bangor, the son of Dennis and Donna (Amero) Nason. Randy valued the time that he had to spend with his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and having his morning coffee at Old Town Trading Post with his cousin, David. Randy was a wonderful son, father, husband, brother, provider for his family and a friend to all. Randy is survived by his soul mate, best friend and wife of 13 1/2 years, Tracey Nason; his eight children, Carey Lindberg, Nicholas Nason and his significant other, Elizabeth Day, Bethany Nason and her significant other, James Small, Jakob Larson and his significant other, Kassandra Mores, Karisa Larson and her significant other, Gary Johnson, Tyler Tibbetts, Dustin Nason and Emily Nason; his son-in-law, Erik Lindberg; five grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brianna, Keegan, Sylus and Brayden; three siblings, Sherri Parent and her husband, Michael, Shelly Rhodes and her husband, Chad, and Robbie Nason and his wife, Kelly; mother-in-law, Rose Pyle; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his special friends, David Nadeau, Lisa Mahaney, Joe and Laurie Ouellette, the crew at Keith Trembley's and Paul Davis Restoration, and many other friends, too numerous to name. Randy was predeceased by his parents. Family and friends are invited to call 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. All are invited afterwards for light refreshments and continued remembrance of Randy at Veterans of Foreign Wars, 64 Water St., Old Town.
