

He was born on August 30, 1971, in Bangor, a son of Judy Nickerson and Bruce Crawford.
Troy attended local schools and was a 1991 graduate of Old Town High School.
Throughout his life he worked in different phases of the field of construction, with painting being his passion. He was very skilled and took great pride in his work.
Troy loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed shooting “hoops” and playing darts. He will fondly be remembered as a person who was always willing to help his children and their friends when they were in need.
One of his favorite things to do was to take his children camping at Nicatous Lake Peninsula.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Bud and Bessie Nickerson; paternal grandparents, Charles and Natalie Crawford; maternal uncle, Eddie Nickerson.
Troy leaves behind his parents; his children, Nikkita, TJ, Tianna Crawford and their mother Lisa; sisters, Heidi Crawford Jackson and her significant other Chris King, and Tracy Crawford Hawes; big brother, Bruce Crawford, who he always looked up to, and his fiance Gail Nadeau; nieces, Jessica Dubois and husband Robert, Alexis Hawes; nephew, JR Jackson and wife Candace; great nephew Kolton Jackson; paternal uncles and aunt, Chuck Crawford; Chris and Beverly Crawford; maternal aunt and uncle, Janet and Arthur Pete; his mother’s significant other, Stewart McCormick; stepmother, Susan Crawford and her children Bobby and Michael Martin; several cousins and a great lifelong friend Mike Avery.
