Beatrice Presley Haddock, 84, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Ms. Haddock was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Presley; second husband, Leo Haddock; daughter, Pamela Presley McClure; parents, Elijah and Maybelle Hicks; and siblings: Clarence Hicks, Frances McGaha, Girtha Parrish, Lee Hicks, Wesley Hicks, James Hicks, Katherine Russell, Robert Hicks, Ben Hicks, and Naomi Hicks. She is survived by her daughter, Suzie Smith(Roger); son, Tim Presley(Rhonda); step-children, DeWayne Haddock(Linda) and Tammie McAlaster; grandchildren: Jeremy Shepherd(Jamie), Janna Shepherd, Christopher McClure, Shawn McClure(Heidi), Casey Presley(Julie), and Lindsay Mobley(Dan); 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Lowell Hicks(Rosie). Mrs. Haddock served as a faithful pastor’s wife under her first husband where she played piano for their church. In her later years, she was a member of Cross Creek Church here in Olive Branch where she faithfully served the Lord. She played piano there as well. To know her, was to know that she was a devout follower of Jesus. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She would spend countless hours baking for their birthdays or just because she loved them. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her flower garden at her home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 1-3 pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens in Sweetwater, TN on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:00 am.
