

Sue Cox, 76. The loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went peacefully home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 12, 2010. She had been surrounded by her loving family and friends during her battle with Alzheimers. Born in Potts Camp, Mississippi to the late Houston and Aileen Hankins, Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ben Hankins. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert W. “Bobby” Cox; her daughter, Debbie C. Pennington (Doug); two grandsons, Chris (Suzanne) and Michael; two great-grand-children, Emma and Houston Pennington and twin brother, Freddie Hankins. After leaving a career as a bookkeeper, she became a full time grandmother and also enjoyed collecting and trading in antiques. Services will be held at Chewalla Primitive Baptist Church, Lacy Ivey Road, Potts Camp, Mississippi beginning with Visitation on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with Funeral Services at 2 p.m. (For directions call 662-551-0535).
