Betty Norine McCarver

Betty Norine McCarver, 76, of Coldwater, MS, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. Betty was preceded in death by her daughters, Bobbie Jean Stiles and Bonnie Dale Heaston, and her brother Robert Sickles. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, John McCarver, her son William Heaston and his wife Tina Heaston; 5 granddaughters; 2 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Angela Bullard, Casey McCarver, Tabatha Johnson, John McCarver; 11 step-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Bernice Sickles. Betty was born in Amory, MS, Jan. 9th, 1937. Betty was the Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Hernando Chapter 258. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed many memories and much love into her creations for her grandchildren and other friends she held dear to her heart. The memorial service followed by reception will be held at 12 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 5, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 9489 Hwy. 306, Independence, MS; Dr. Jeffery Elliott officiating.
