Bill R. Strickland, 77, of Memphis, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Mr. Strickland was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from the FAA as a Radar Unit Sector Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Barbara S. Strickland, his children, Greg Strickland, Brian Strickland (Barbara D. Strickland), and Monica Hidaji (Hootan Hidaji). He also leaves six grandchildren, Blake Strickland (Katie Strickland), Tiffany Strickland, Camryn Hidaji, Jason Burgess, Brian Burgess, and Evan West, as well as one great-grandson on the way. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 12-2pm at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery in Memphis.
