Bobby L. Miles II

Bobby L. Miles, II, 66, of Hernando, MS passed away on February 15, 2026. Bobby was born on October 23, 1959, in Louisville, KY to the late Bobby L. Miles and Jeanette Van Natta Miles. He began his plumbing career with Nolan Company then later worked for Southern Plumbing until he started Miles Plumbing Company in 1993. In his free time, he was an avid duck hunter. He also enjoyed water skiing and vacationing at the beach. Bobby was a huge Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan. He was always the life of the party and known to be a “dare devil” at times. His family was his greatest joy in life, and he loved watching his daughter play volleyball and attending his grandchildren’s games. Bobby was a believer in Jesus and attended Getwell Church of Hernando. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Van Natta; uncle, Buddy Van Natta; and his cousin, Michelle Van Natta. He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Wright (Alan); grandchildren, Paxton and Harper Ann Wright; sister, Lyn Ridener (Phil); sister, Deedee Newton (Bob McGinty); sister, Leann Mockford (Terry); sister, Judy Williams (Tony); brother, Billy Miles; stepmother, Verna Miles; and aunt, Shirley Van Natta (Allen). The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 12-2 pm with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Getwell Church of Hernando (P.O. Box 1109, Southaven, MS 38671).
