Brenda Lee Stringer, 54, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away October 14, 2016. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dale Nabors. She is survived by her mother, Maurine Nabors, her children, Brittany Danielle Cox, and Daniel Tyler Cox, her granddaughter, Elizabeth Jade Sawyer, and her brother, Dale Nabors. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 9am until the funeral service begins at 10am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Tippah Memorial Gardens, Ripley, MS. The following was written in honor of Brenda by her mother, Maurine: “In memory of my daughter. Brenda Lee, my beautiful and sweet baby was born to me and her Daddy, Jim Nabors in Zaragoza, Spain in 1961. I helped the midwife bring her into this world and she and her brother was such a blessing. The Lord needed us to have two children that He knew would need a home, so let’s just say that we gathered the sheep and took care of them the best we could. Brenda and Dale both were a real blessing. Now she has gone to be with her daddy in heaven who passed in 2011."
