

Elizabeth Dallas Roberson, 20 of Hernando, MS passed away on July 17, 2016. Dallas was born in Oceanside, CA on April 19, 1996. She attended DeSoto Central High School and Northwest Mississippi Community College in Southaven. Dallas was only with us for a short time but she put all the living she could into those twenty years. She was a cheerleader at DeSoto Central High School and DeSoto Central Middle School where she also played saxophone in the Middle School band. She was an honor student. Dallas was often characterized by those that knew and loved her as a free spirit. One of her favorite quotes was “Life is not measured by the breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away”. She took our breath away by her beauty, her love, her strength and her spirit. Dallas is survived by the light of her life, her “baby pumpkin” Madelyn Grace Martin, 2 of Hernando; her parents, Debra Lynette Ward of Hernando, Bennett Roberson, and stepmother Judy Roberson of Memphis. She also leaves behind, her brother Danny Roberson and sister Delanie Ward. In addition, her maternal “Nana”, Pamela McNatt and grandfather Steve McNatt. Dallas is also survived by paternal grandmother Mary Ann Wilson, her aunt Grace Porter of Memphis and uncle Randall Roberson of Apex, NC. Dallas had a blended family that loved her including aunts and uncles Brad & Missy McNatt of Elkmont, AL, Jason & Kim McNatt of Olive Branch, Ben McNatt of Hernando, and Chase &Nikki McNatt of Hernando, numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles. Dallas is also survived by a special cousin, friend, confidant, Dottie Bowen of Hamilton, MS. Dallas was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Danny (Red) Hambers, paternal grandfather, Jay Roberson and stepfather, Tim Ward. Dallas will forever be in our hearts and we will see her beauty in the piece of her left behind, her precious Madelyn. Her family will accept visitors at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS from 5-8 pm on Thursday, July 21st. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 22nd at 10:00 am with graveside commitment at Autumn Woods Memorial Park in Olive Branch immediately following the services.
