She is survived by her loving husband of 34 ½ years, Charles David Aquadro. She also leaves two sisters, Janet Burnette (Richie) of Oxford, MS and Denise Tubbs (Rodney) of Germantown, TN. In addition, she leaves behind a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Aquadro (Jim), two brothers-in-law, Bill Aquadro (Cheryl) and Robert Aquadro (Vikki), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Aunt Debra, Aunt Deb, and Rah-Rah, an especially appropriate name because she always cheered them on and supported them in their many endeavors.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Florence Wood.
Before retiring in 2020, she enjoyed a successful career with Hilton and Holiday Corporation.
In addition to loving her family so thoughtfully and generously, Debra was the ultimate dog lover. Through the years, she meticulously and compassionately cared for five toy and miniature poodles, who surely knew they were the luckiest dogs on earth.
Debra’s life, which will be privately celebrated by her family and close friends on Saturday, beautifully reflected one of her favorite Scriptures – This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24.
