Southaven - DEREK MIKEL ELLIS, born January 1, 1969 in Memphis, TN, passed April 16, 2012 at his home in Southaven. Derek was a Memphis firefighter since 2003. He loved all race cars and restoring antique cars. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 18 at Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 19 at First Baptist Church, Southaven, Hwy. 51. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Ellis; loving parents, Donald and Debbie Ellis; mother, Ellen Larrimore; siblings, Clayton Ellis (Kristen), Loren Larrimore, Lindsey Larrimore and Skylar Larrimore.
