Dorothy Hinman Long, 97, of Nesbit, MS passed away On March 11, 2022. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles W. Long; and her daughter, Barbara Anne Stowe. She is survived by her son, David Hildebrand; grandchildren, Brian Stowe(Marcia) and Allison Stowe; great-grandchildren: Destiny Stowe, Nathan Stowe, Savannah Stowe, Kayla McKenzie, Stephen McKenzie, and Rebecca McKenzie; and great-great-grandchild, Gabriel Jones. Mrs. Long was born on May 1, 1929 in Gloucester, NJ to Joseph and Mary Hinman. In 1976 she married the love of her life, Charlie Long. Charlie was serving in the United States Air Force and she was able to travel the world with him. She told her family that those years were the time of her life. Being his wife was her greatest joy. She will be interred at a later date with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
