Doyle Scruggs, 67, of Coldwater, MS passed away on November 23, 2022. Mr. Scruggs was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Scruggs Posey; and his father, Homer Scruggs. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Wendy Scruggs; daughter, Nikki Parrish(Jimmy); daughter, Shenna Traywick(Chris); son, Cody Scruggs(Kristina); son, Chris Pulley(Rhonda); grandchildren: Aiden Haley, Grace Scruggs, Caleb Scruggs, Alex Traywick, Easton Parrish, and Taylor Traywick; brother, Dennis Paul Scruggs(Lynn); sister, Dena Coleman; niece, Wendy Coleman; and nephew, Jason Coleman. Mr. Scruggs worked as a mechanic for Peterbilt and later retired from Goodyear. He loved to fix things and work with his hands. He had a servant’s heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. His family was his whole world and he especially loved being “Poppy” to his grandchildren. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching college football. A memorial gathering will be held at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5-7 pm.
