

Elbert E. Horn, 85, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2026. Elbert was born on April 2, 1940, to the late Bubie Horn and Mary French. He was a truck driver for over forty years. Elbert was a believer in Jesus Christ and a faithful member of Glen’s Chapel UMC where he served as a deacon. One of his greatest joys was being “Papaw” to his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and four wheelers with them when they were younger. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time at the river with his wife. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Horn; stepfather, Charles French; sisters, Darlene and Patty; and grandsons, Aaron Miller and Jeremy Harris. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nellie R. Horn; daughter, Mary Miller; daughter, Sherry Burke (Frankie); daughter, Alisa Harris (Phil); son, Eddie Franks (Sonya); 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Glen’s Chapel UMC on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10-11 am with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at West TN State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
