Emily Sue Kunkel

Emily Sue Kunkel, 65, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. Mrs. Kunkel was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Kunkel; parents, James Bernard Coby and Thelma Gertrude Bennett Coby; and sister, Mary Louise Tombs. She is survived by her brother, James Bernard Coby(Nancy); sisters, Carol Wilder(Chris) and Martha Coby; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kunkel was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She loved her cat, Abby, going places with her best friend, Doris Thompson, and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, January16, 2021 from 1-2 pm with a funeral liturgy beginning at 2:00 pm. Both will be held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery.
