Gary Wayne Johnson, 65, of Byhalia, MS passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ruth Flor; and father, Richard Stanley Flor. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Perry; sons: Brian James Johnson(Melissa), Steven Howard Johnson, and Richard Wayne Johnson(Kimberly); grandchildren: Ansley Womack, Cheyenne Riordin, Koy Worley, Kansas Worley, Kolston Worley, Kaylee Mason, Alexus Johnson, Conner Johnson, and Elijah Johnson; great-grandsons, Isaiah and Mason Riordin; sisters: Zoa Ann Manners, Valerie J. Atkins, and Geraldine DeBoer; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was born July 1, 1956 in Memphis, TN. He served our country in the United States Navy for 24 years as a pilot and air craft mechanic. After his military service, he worked as a forklift mechanic. He was kind man with a servant’s heart always ready to help anyone in need. He loved his family with his whole heart and spending time with them was one of his greatest joys. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.
