Gordon Thompson

Gordon Thompson of Olive Branch, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief of 25 years. Gordon was owner of Thompson's Heating and A/C for 18 years. He was an avid golfer, and starter at Cherokee Valley Golf Club for 20 years. Gordon was preceded in death in death by his father, William Thompson, and his mother, Georgia Turner Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Thompson; three sons, David Thompson (Torrie), John Thompson (Lori), Michael Thompson, and two sisters, Opha Caudill, Virginia Edmonds (Teddy). Gordon also leaves behind three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Longview Heights Baptist Church, 4501 Goodman Rd. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
