Hazel Parks

Hazel Louise Parks, 90, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Parks, Jr.; son, William Parks; grandson, Michael Fields; and granddaughter, Stacy Fields. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Parks(Pat); daughter, Linda Cooke(Charles); son, Sam Parks, III(Terri); daughter-in-law, Pat Parks; grandchildren: Diane Norton, Jennifer Parks, Lisa Parks, Chad Parks(Misty), Dawn Mallard(Jarrad), and David Cooke; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Ann Ward Mason, Marilyn Mitrius, and Peggy Clayton. Mrs. Parks was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake, MS.
