

Henry Lesley “Pop” Williams, 79, of Coldwater, MS, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 6:30am at his home. Born March, 25, 1937 in Warren, TN, Mr. Williams was a retired Truck Driver and attended New Garden Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nora Ellen Williams, one son, Bradley Dewayne Williams and his wife, Tammy Bailey Williams, one grandson, Michael Dewayne Williams and his wife, Sarah Elexa Williams of Wakefield, MS, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Kathryn Sanborn and husband Scott Sanborn of Olive Branch, MS, five great-grandchildren, Hailey Williams, Taylor Williams, Kayla Sanborn, Liam Sanborn, Ellie Kate Sanborn, and Bailey Williams, two brothers, Jimmy Williams of Wakefield, MS and Dan Williams of Byhalia, MS, as well as four sisters, Wanda McGee of Gatlin, TN, Brenda Joyner of Southaven, MS, Janie Wylie and Judy Wylie of Byhalia, MS. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, Ben Walter Williams, his mother, Mary Lou Williams, one sister, Nadine McGee, and two sons, Ben Lesley Williams and David Glen Williams. Visitation was held Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9am – 11am at New Garden Baptist Church. The Service was held at 11am also at the church. Interment was held in Cockrum Cemetery. Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch was in charge of arrangements.
