Born on March 1, 1949 in Dyersburg, Tennessee one of two sons born to the late William Ishmael & Virginia Stephens Watson. He graduated from Olive Branch High School class of 1968 and then attended Northwest Mississippi Community College.
He worked his way up in the construction industry and became a contractor & developer. He retired from the City of Olive Branch as the Director of City Services in 2012.
Mike enjoyed collecting knives, fishing lures, any antiques, and classic cars. He was an avid fisherman and hunter as well.
Mr. Watson is survived today by his wife of 52 years, Pam Watson; son Matt (Agata) Watson of Chicago, Illinois; daughter Lindsey (David) Crawford of Olive Branch; grandchildren Emma Crawford and Gabriel Watson; and brother Steve (Sherri) Watson of Rainbow City, Alabama.
